NARANJA
Commercial Hub | New Cairo, Egypt
Naranja is envisioned as a vibrant commercial hub located in New Cairo, Egypt, designed to embrace both its context and unique terrain.
The site features a natural 8-meter land difference, which became the driving force of the design. Instead of leveling the ground, the project adapts to the landscape by unfolding across three floors:
Lower Floor → Positioned on the lower street, fully opening to the natural slope and urban activity below.
Middle Floor → Facing the upper street, acting as a direct extension of the city fabric and providing seamless pedestrian access.
Upper Floor → Floating above the two, uniting the levels into a cohesive commercial experience while offering elevated views and a strong architectural presence.
This terrain-based layering creates two active street-facing entrances, ensuring accessibility and vibrancy on both urban edges. The result is a dynamic commercial hub that blends architecture with landscape, offering visitors an engaging experience across multiple levels.
