"National Operation Center"
N.O.C is the world’s first publicly traded container port business trust. Listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in March 2011, it was also the first entity to launch dual currency trading of its units in early 2012. This project is the national operation center of them located in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt.


The concept is to follow the main pricipals the corporate adopts in their identity.

TIME: It seems like the rhythm behind all the flows and the invisible structure that connects all the moments and movements which is formation of the plan itself and how the circles connect time.
FLOW: A flow concept inspired by the ripple effect of the ocean, emphasizing continuity and impact.
CONNECT: Inspired by the dynamic nature of scientific logistics, the design embraces openness to encourage fluid communication, with soft, neutral materials reflecting precision, clarity, and calm efficiency.


The reception: the space where employees and visitors first come and get welcomed.
The main formation of the counter and seating is inspired from containers found in ports and lifts.
The Maquette area: the space where a compound maquette of the hutchson ports in egypt are expressed in an artistic refraction way. The main idea is to express the water through glass layers in front of an interactive screen shows the ports' locations and information.
The Workspace area: the space where employees work and is devided into three main zones with three main anchors. the first zone is for finance teams, the second zone is for procurement and IT teams, the last zone is for OPS and HR teams. the area contains two quite rooms and noise absorbing materials to enhance the quality of the space. The containers idea is also expressed in the space in the furniture design and the design of the middle columns.
The board meeting area: the space where board members meet and where main events occur. It also contains photos from the corporate ports and the space overlooks the view which is the Nile of Cairo.
The CFO Room: the office  of the CFO who is in charge of this center and who have a dog that he appreciates too much thats why we expressed him with the Dog Boss sculpture. the materials used in the space are leather and dark wood to give the feeling of elegance and professionality.
